The death of a 20-year-old man who died after drinking a whole bottle of whiskey on a bet has prompted RCMP to issue a warning.
Police say the man, who died on the weekend in Burnaby, agreed to drink the 26-ounce bottle on a dare from friends.
He had already drunk about 10 beers.

Nova Scotia has the lowest smoking rate in the country for young people, according to data released today, Jan. 21, by Health Canada. In 2000, Nova Scotia had the highest smoking rate among youth in the country at 31 per cent. Seven years later, it is now the lowest with only 12 per cent of youth aged 15 to 19 smoking.

Last Friday, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled that random searches by drug sniffing dogs in Canadian high schools cannot take place unless there is already reasonable suspicion that drugs are present.
While the Conservative Government will abide by this ruling, it strongly disagrees with the Supreme Court's decision.
